The Instruction of ZWCAD 2008 Update Installation   

Policies
1   Needn't change dongle

You can upgrade to ZWCAD 2008 without changing dongle. There are the details for different version:

•  For the Network version, you should update Network License Server and register again with the new License code for ZWCAD 2008.
•  For the Standalone version, you can update only by registering with the new License code for ZWCAD 2008.

2   Free Will
Upgrade or not depends on your will absolutely. If you don't want to upgrade to ZWCAD 2008 now, you can continue using your old version. However, there won't be new update patch for the old version although existing patch can be downloaded for free.

3  Unique fee
Now, you can upgrade to ZWCAD 2008 directly whatever version you have used. For example, you can upgrade from ZWCAD 2005 to ZWCAD 2008 directly. And the upgrade fee is the same.
Upgrade installation process

•   Stand alone version

1, Download the ZWCAD 2008 installation package from following links:
    ZWCAD 2008 Standard Version 
    ZWCAD 2008 Professional Version
Uninstall the old version and install ZWCAD2008 version.
2, Open ZWCAD 2008, then get the 8 digit Product ID from License dialog box through menu "HELP-License".

3, Contact with the local dealer where you bought ZWCAD. Pay for update fee and ask for new license code for ZWCAD 2008 with Product ID you have read.

4, Fill in the new License code for ZWCAD 2008 in the License dialog box. Then press the REGISTER button to register. After prompting like follow, it means you have upgraded successfully.

•       Network version

Client
1, Download the ZWCAD 2008 installation package from following links:

     ZWCAD 2008 Standard Version      ZWCAD 2008 Professional Version

Uninstall the old version and install ZWCAD2008 version.

2, Open the License dialog box (Help-License from the menu), select the "Enable net license" option and fill in the Server IP.

Server
1, Open Console of ZWCAD Network License Server and press the Stop button (click the start menu of Windows, All Programs (or Programs) ZwCAD Network License Server Console). Then exit the Console from Windows Taskbar.

2,    Uninstall the old Network License Server.
 

3, Download ZWCAD2008 Network License Server from following links:

ZWCAD Network License Server. Then install it and take the 8 digit Serial Number from the Console.

4, Contact with the local dealer where you bought ZWCAD. Pay for update fee and ask for new license code for ZWCAD 2008 with Product ID you have read. 

 

5, Open the Console dialog box and fill in the new Network License code to finish the register. Then press the Start button to operate. And you have upgraded to ZWCAD 2008 successfully.
